I finally got in! I've been stalking them on Facebook for a while, and tried to go last Sunday, but they were unexpectedly closed. Despite the setback, tried again today and was rewarded by a great laid back breakfast-in-a-pub experience. They aren't serving alcohol yet, but the food was damn delicious. I had warm scones with strawberries & cream, and Scottish oats with raisins. And coffee. We ate at the counter while watching Swiss v. Italy on the t.v. They are a little understaffed (one cook, one other guy taking orders & serving) but they were friendly & gracious throughout. The cook (a young Scotsman) showed me an amazing interactive World Cup schedule on his laptop, which I need to try & find now. We could see him assembling food from our vantage point at the counter. I caught him singing to himself once. I get a great feeling from this place.
